Massage has many health benefits such as increased blood and lymph circulation, relief of muscle tension, reduced levels of stress hormones and increased relaxation. A massage can help to improve your overall wellbeing, physically and mentally, which also boosts your immune system. During a massage we often produce oxytocin, the so-called 'love-hormone' and endorphines, the body's own natural pain killers. These two are responsible for the warm and fuzzy feeling you often have after a massage. What's not to like?
